Will Superquinn Follow Safeway?

UTV out of Belfast has reported on its web site that “a major American or British supermarket chain may be set to buy-out the Superquinn group of 19 stores throughout Ireland.”
There was no formal response from Superquinn included in the report, however, the family-owned chain has always denied rumors such as this in the past.
Moderator’s Comment: Is Superquinn in play? What are
your thoughts on the Safeway UK bidding being reported?
We certainly hope not. Feargal Quinn’s stores represent
the true definition of customer service.
