Philip Morris is no longer Philip Morris. It is now Altria Group after the company officially changed its name yesterday to broaden the corporate umbrella that covers its tobacco and food business units.
The company’s tobacco unit will continue to operate under the Philip Morris name and Kraft Foods will remain the banner for Altria Group’s food business.
