Kellogg’s Raising Cereal Prices

Citing higher prices for commodities such as corn, wheat and cocoa, Kellogg’s has announced it would take the price of some cereals up an average of two percent.
Moderator’s Comment: How sensitive is the ready to
eat cereal category to price? Will Kellogg’s competitors follow suit and raise
cereal prices or will they attempt to gain advantage by holding the line or
possibly reducing their own prices?
